Tapashree Roy

Tapashree Roy is a Program Lead at the Optics Center of Applied Materials, where they lead a team of engineers and scientists to develop optics-based solutions for future product roadmaps. Previously, Tapashree held multiple positions at Applied Materials from Deputy Director to Senior Technical Manager, contributing significantly to the company's research and development. Tapashree completed a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at Harvard University and has held research roles at Argonne National Laboratory, where they engaged in advanced optics studies. They earned a Ph.D. in Nanophotonics and Metamaterials from the University of Southampton and a B.Tech. in Radio Physics and Electronics from the University of Calcutta, where they ranked first in their class.
