Vinay Prabhakar is a seasoned engineering leader currently serving as the Sr. Director of Engineering at Applied Materials. With a robust background that includes roles as Engineering Manager and Director of Engineering at Applied Materials from 2020 to 2024, Vinay has also held positions at Solyndra, Intevac, and Novellus Systems. Vinay earned a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, followed by an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
