Vishal Thakare

Vishal Thakare is a Process Support Engineer at Applied Materials since 2019, with an extensive background in materials science and thin film research. Prior experience includes a role as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of California, Berkeley, focusing on ferroelectric and ferromagnetic thin films for Magnetic RAM and HDD applications. Additional roles include Research Associate at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Pune, managing thin film growth using pulsed laser deposition, and multiple positions at the National Chemical Laboratory, involving growth and analysis of thin films for various applications. Vishal also held a Visiting Fellow position at UNSW, conducting research on multiferroic thin films.
