Vivek Bhagat

Vivek Bhagat is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and software development. Currently serving as a Senior Director at Applied Materials since September 2024, Vivek focuses on new product development. Prior to this role, Vivek was the Senior Vice President of Engineering at Liminal, overseeing the development of the EchoStat platform for ultrasound inspection and machine learning analytics in battery manufacturing. Vivek's notable tenure at KLA from 1999 to 2022 included positions from Software Engineer to Senior Director of Engineering and Head of Software for the E-Beam Division, leading large-scale software development and project management initiatives. Additional earlier experiences include software engineering roles at Schlumberger and Savi Technology, with a foundational degree in Computers from Dharmsinh Desai University obtained in 1993.
