Paul Wahnon

Paul Wahnon has extensive work experience in various industries. Paul currently holds the position of Head of Development at Applied Photophysics since 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Acro Aircraft Seating as a Project Manager from 2018 to 2021. In this role, they were responsible for end-to-end project management, budgeting, and ensuring regulatory compliance for new product developments.

Before their time at Acro Aircraft Seating, Paul worked at Thermo Fisher Scientific from 2011 to 2018, holding multiple roles including Projects Manager, Development Scientist, and Final Test and Installation Engineer. In these positions, they gained in-depth knowledge and skills in XPS machines, as well as experience in testing, installing, and training customers. Paul also had exposure to various surface-sensitive measurement techniques.

Paul's earlier work experience includes a role as a Researcher at Imperial College London from 2010 to 2011, and as a Motor Vehicle Technician at Mitsubishi Motors from 1999 to 2003.

Paul Wahnon has a Master's Degree in Physics with Management Studies from the University of Sussex, where they studied from 2005 to 2010. Prior to that, they attended Test Valley School from 1993 to 1998, although it's unclear whether they obtained a degree or pursued a specific field of study at this institution.

In addition to their formal education, Paul Wahnon has obtained several certifications. In September 2017, they obtained the Prince2 Agile Practitioner certification from BCS. In August 2017, they also obtained the Prince2 Foundation and Prince2 Practitioner certifications from the same institution. In February 2016, they earned the Laser Safety Officer for technical applications certification from UVEX SAFETY GROUP | Headquarter. Furthermore, they obtained the Risk Assessment (Level 2) certification from the British Safety Council in November 2015. Finally, in July 2017, they received the First Aid at work certification from St John Ambulance.
