Christopher Ong is a skilled engineer with a strong background in mechanical engineering and computational fluid dynamics. Currently serving as a Staff Engineer at ARA since August 2019, Christopher previously gained valuable experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of New Haven from September 2016 to August 2018, where a CFD validation study of aerodynamic parameters for multi-sided cylinders was conducted. Christopher also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of New Haven from May 2015 to November 2015, focusing on the CFD validation of airfoil bodies and implementing bio-inspired geometric modifications, with findings presented at APS Boston 2015. Christopher holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in the same field, both from the University of New Haven, completing studies in 2018 and 2016, respectively.
