Derek French

Derek French, MBA, has extensive experience in electrical engineering and claims recovery. Currently serving as a Claims Recovery Specialist at chargeguard by Carbon6 since February 2022, Derek has held the position of Senior Electrical Engineer 2 at ARA since October 2019. Previous roles include Electrical Engineer III at Textron Systems from May 2013 to October 2019, and various positions at AAI Corporation between November 2010 and May 2013, where Derek led multiple engineering projects and managed significant hardware development initiatives. Earlier experience includes working as an Electrical Engineer at General Dynamics Land Systems and as an Electrical Designer at Zeller Corp. Derek holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.
