George Ullrich

George Ullrich is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategic development and technology leadership, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Strategy Development at ARA since September 2013. Prior roles include Chief Technology Officer at Schafer Corporation, Senior Vice President at SAIC, and Director for Weapons Systems at the Office of the Secretary of Defense, DDR&E. Ullrich has also held significant positions such as Senior Advisor for Science and Technology at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency and Deputy Director at the Defense Nuclear Agency, among others. George Ullrich earned a Ph.D. in Physics from Drexel University, where studies took place from 1969 to 1974, following an earlier educational experience at St. Joseph's Prep from 1961 to 1965. Early in his career, Ullrich worked as a physicist at USAMERADCOM and as an aerospace engineer at General Electric's Reentry Systems Division.
