Hans Petry

Hans Petry, MBA, PMP, ORSA, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations research and analysis. Currently serving as a Senior Operations Research Analyst at ARA since February 2017, Hans has previously held significant roles, including Principal Analyst at the Homeland Security Institute, where leadership of analytic teams was focused on projects for the Department of Homeland Security. From June 2004 to September 2008, Hans was the Chief of Operations Assessment for HQ USAF A-9, overseeing operational assessments and the training of deployed analysts. Additionally, as Operations Officer for the 21st Airlift Squadron, Hans managed the training and standardization of C-5 flight operations. Hans's early career included the role of Deputy Commander for the Air Mobility Command Studies and Analysis Flight, supervising a division focused on mobility analysis. Educational qualifications include an MS in Operations Research from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology, an MBA from Boston University, and a B.S. in Engineering Science with a focus on Aerodynamics Propulsion from the United States Air Force Academy.
