Robert Savering

Robert Savering is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in program management, engineering supervision, and operational testing within both the automotive and military sectors. Currently serving as Primary Program Manager and Engineering Supervisor at ARA since September 2020, Robert has previously held key positions at General Motors, including Plant Lead Safety Supervisor and Business Development Supervisor, where responsibilities included overseeing safety culture and operational efficiency. Robert's military career spans significant roles such as Operational Test Coordinator for the US Navy, Executive Officer of the USS Tennessee, and SLBM Mission Planning Division Lead at USSTRATCOM, demonstrating a strong background in leadership and technical expertise. An alumnus of the University of Virginia and Old Dominion University, Robert holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science in Engineering Management, complemented by a Navy Nuclear Power Operations qualification.
