Matthew McDonald has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. Starting in 1998, they owned and operated a gaming website as a teenager while also working as a freelance web developer and coder. In 2005, they interned with State Farm and successfully implemented their first internal CRM tool.

From 2006 to 2011, Matthew worked at Eli Lilly and Company where they gained experience in corporate finance, focusing on FP&A, accounting, and balance sheet management. Matthew then joined Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in 2012 and led numerous M&A, growth strategy, and go-to-market engagements. Matthew excelled in their role at BCG, earning promotions and recognition for their outstanding performance.

In 2018, Matthew transitioned to Stericycle where they took on leadership roles in marketing, strategy, and business transformation. Under their guidance, the company achieved significant financial growth and implemented successful pricing and commercial excellence programs.

Currently, Matthew is working at Applied Systems as the Senior Vice President of Revenue (Go-to-Market) Operations and Strategy. In this role, they are responsible for redefining the role of operations to maximize revenue and retention by enabling colleagues to operate more efficiently. Matthew works closely with the executive team to define the company's Go-to-Market strategy and ensure effective execution.

Matthew McDonald has a Masters of Business Administration degree in General Management from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Matthew also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors from DePauw University, majoring in Economics with a minor in Computer Science/Engineering.
