Sherry Hunt

Sherry Hunt, CMP, CMM, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations and event management. Currently serving as the Sr. Director of Operations and Events at Applied Systems since July 1994, Sherry manages both transient and group business travel, overseeing comprehensive meeting management from sourcing to on-site execution. Previously, Sherry held roles at Applied Systems, including Director of Travel & Meeting Services and Manager of Travel and Administrative Services, where responsibilities encompassed developing corporate travel departments and negotiating supplier agreements. Prior experience includes working as a Travel Consultant at Park Forest Travel and as a Convention Services Manager at The Drake Hotel. Sherry holds an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Kankakee Community College.
