Jakub Lamparski

Jakub Lamparski has work experience in two companies.

From January 2018 to July 2022, they worked at Appliscale, where they held various roles. Jakub started as a Junior Software Engineer and then moved on to become a Software Engineer. In this role, they contributed to the US WEST COAST MARKETPLACE (VIDEO-AS-A-SERVICE) PLATFORM, working closely with the UI/UX team. Jakub used React and Node.js for their tasks and also prepared E2E tests using the Functionize framework, which is ML-based and self-healing.

In July 2022, Jakub was promoted to the position of Tech Manager at Appliscale.

Prior to joining Appliscale, from July 2015 to August 2015, Jakub completed an internship at the Institute of Geography and Spatial Organization, Polish Academy of Sciences. During this time, they worked on a project focused on georeferencing 18th century old cartographic materials and creating geospatial databases using ArcGIS.

Jakub Lamparski completed their education at AGH University of Krakow. From 2013 to 2016, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Geodesy, Surveying, and Cartography. Following this, they enrolled in AGH University of Krakow once again and obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Geomatics from 2016 to 2017. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including Linux Administration Bootcamp, The Coding Interview Bootcamp, The Complete React Native and Redux Course, The Complete Google Go Programming Course For Beginners, Python for Everyone, and several courses offered by Esri on working with geodatabases and cartographic representations.
