Anand Sundaram

Anand Sundaram is an accomplished operating executive with more than 20 years of experience building, transforming, and scaling successful technology businesses.

He brings deep expertise in software testing and quality platforms, with a proven track record of delivering market-leading products at companies including SQA/Rational, RSW Software/Teradyne, and SmartBear.

A servant leader, Anand is known for combining strategic vision with operational rigor and go-to-market execution to drive consistent growth and customer value.

Most recently, Anand served as GM of Test and Observability and then CTO at SmartBear, where he scaled a 20+ product portfolio backed by Vista Equity Partners, Francisco Partners, and Insight Partners—delivering sustained year-over-year growth and profitability. He has also held senior leadership roles at CloudZero, Carbon Black, and CRICO.

With extensive experience in cloud-native technologies, AI, and data science, Anand thrives on fostering innovation and customer-centric value creation. He has played key leadership roles in multiple successful private equity exits, an IPO, and strategic acquisitions. He co-founded three startups, including RSW Software, which became the foundation of the Oracle Application Testing Suite.

Anand lives in the Boston area and enjoys playing golf and the outdoors.
