Mike Millgate

Mike Millgate is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in quality engineering and automation. Currently serving as an Applitools Ambassador since April 2023, Mike participates in webinars and conference talks while providing strategic feedback on application releases. As the leader of a 15-member team at EVERFI, Mike is guiding the K12/Homeroom educational platform and implementing testing strategies. Additionally, Mike owns SLIMMTech, focusing on automation test design and team skill development. Previous roles include contributions as a Staff Software Engineer at Procore Technologies, Technical Quality Architect at Gannett, and Automation Architect at Optum, where Mike was pivotal in integrating automation tools and enhancing quality practices. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication/Media Studies from the University of Utah and an Associate of Science from Salt Lake Community College.
