Alyssa Harvey Dawson

Alyssa Harvey Dawson is the current Director at AppLovin. Prior to their current position, they were the Vice President of Global Intellectual Property and Licensing at Harman International from August 2011 to May 2017. In this role, Alyssa was responsible for partnering with business executives to enable growth with business-oriented intellectual property strategy and development. Additionally, they oversaw the patent, trademark and copyright portfolios, and was also responsible for leading IP monetization efforts and managing IP litigation.

Before joining Harman International, Alyssa was the General Counsel, Head of Legal, Privacy and Data Governance at Sidewalk Labs from June 2017 to July 2020. In this role, they were responsible for providing overall legal advice and counseling to the company, as well as overseeing strategic IP enforcement. Additionally, they structured and negotiated business and technology transactions, established global license terms and conditions, and coordinated standards-setting collaborations.

Alyssa Dawson has extensive experience in intellectual property law, business law, and technology law. Alyssa has a proven track record of successfully partnering with businesses to enable growth and protect intellectual property.

Alyssa Harvey Dawson received a JD from Georgetown University Law Center and a BA in Journalism from Michigan State University. Alyssa also attended Jackson Memorial High School and Michigan State University.
