Miguel Angel Gallego Ruiz

Miguel Angel Gallego Ruiz is an experienced professional in the automotive and engineering sectors, currently serving as Data Acquisition Team Lead in the Passive Safety division at Applus+ IDIADA since August 2014. In this role, Miguel leads a multidisciplinary team and supervises data acquisition projects for automotive passive safety tests, while managing methodologies to ensure data accuracy and collaborating with homologation and vehicle development departments. Prior to this position, Miguel held the role of Data Acquisition Engineer at Applus+ IDIADA, focusing on the setup and maintenance of data acquisition devices for various tests. Miguel also managed a family business as owner from July 2006 to August 2014 and contributed as a Software Developer Engineer at TBS Touchless Biometrical Systems. Miguel's career began with an engineering internship at Centro Técnico de SEAT, S.A. Miguel holds an Engineer's degree in Automation and Industrial Electronics and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Electronics Technology, both from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
