J. Jeff Ramella began their career in 1987 as a Fire Support Specialist | Forward Observer | 13F with the US Army. In 1997 they joined American Management Systems (AMS) as a Systems Engineer. In 2000, they moved to Wang/Getronics/DigitalNet/BAE Systems as a Sr. Systems Engineer/Project Manager, onsite at the U.S. Department of Justice, Executive Office of U.S. In 2003, they joined ICF Consulting as a Sr. Systems Engineer/Project Manager, onsite at the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs. In 2016, they became President of the Dunn Loring Improvement Association (DLIA). In 2004, they founded and became CEO of ApplyLogic Consulting Group, LLC, a certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small-Business (SDVOSB) and leading provider of integrated technology solutions. In 2022, they joined the American Association of People with Disabilities as a Board Member.
J. Jeff Ramella holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of Maryland Global Campus. J. Jeff has also obtained seven certifications from various institutions, including a Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Professional (2018), a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS; 2006), a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA; 2005), a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer: Windows Server 2003 (MCSE; 2005), a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE; 1998), a Microsoft Certified Professional (1997), and a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (2009).
