Alex Makepeace has a strong background in the technology industry, with over 20 years of experience in various roles.

Starting in 2002, Alex worked as a CRM Consultant at Detica for a year before moving on to Princeton Consulting, where they held the same role for a short period.

In 2004, Alex joined Accenture as a Manager and held multiple design and build roles, focusing on delivering CRM applications to top global brands. During their time at Accenture, Alex also had a secondment with Avanade, where they were involved in pre-sales of Dynamics CRM for both companies' clients and acted as a liaison between Accenture and Avanade for all Dynamics CRM activities.

After leaving Accenture in 2012, Alex became the IS Business Partner at Guide Dogs for the Blind Association. They played a crucial role in re-platforming the organization's core system and extending it to include new services.

Following their time at Guide Dogs, Alex worked as a Senior Business Analyst at Tquila and then as a Solutions Architect at Appirio, where they gained extensive experience in architecting and implementing IT solutions.

Most recently, in 2019, Alex joined BAE Systems Applied Intelligence as a Lead Solution Architect and contributed to successful projects before transitioning to their current position as a Technical Account Manager at AppOmni in 2021.

Alex Makepeace attended the University of St Andrews from 1996 to 2001, where they obtained a BSc (Hons) degree in Computational Science.
