André Pouliot

André Pouliot is the current President of the Appraisal Institute of Canada. André has held this position since June 2019. Prior to this, they served as the Director of the Appraisal Institute of Canada from June 2019 to June 2021.

André has also previously served as the President of the Nova Scotia Real Estate Appraisers Association from March 2011 to February 2013, and as the Vice President from January 2009 to December 2010. André also served as the Secretary from January 2007 to December 2009.

André Pouliot has over 25 years of experience in the appraisal industry. André started their career at Turner Drake & Partners Ltd., where they worked for many years before moving on to hold various positions within the Nova Scotia Real Estate Appraisers Association. In their current role as President of the Appraisal Institute of Canada, André is responsible for leading the organization and its members in providing the highest level of professional service and expertise in property valuation.

André Pouliot has a Bachelor of Commerce from Saint Mary's University and a DULE in Real Estate Appraisal from The University of British Columbia. André is also an AACI and an MRICS.
