Rachel Strow, PhD, is a project director at APPRISE, where they conduct research to evaluate the effectiveness of residential energy efficiency and energy affordability programs. Previously, they served as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education and conducted economic and geospatial analyses at the US Environmental Protection Agency while completing their dissertation. Rachel has extensive experience in academia, having taught intermediate microeconomics at Rutgers University and received a competitive Excellence Fellowship during their studies. They earned a PhD in Economics from Rutgers University, along with a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Economics from Muhlenberg College.
