Jayanta Karmakar

Jayanta Karmakar has over 15 years of work experience in the technology industry. In 2019, they founded and became the CEO of Utah Tech Labs, where they are building a research-heavy service organization that is investing in new capability building. From 2017 to 2019, they were the Chief Technology Officer at Cingant, working to build a strong digital team. From 2010 to 2017, they were the Director and Co-founder of Appsbee, where they were responsible for bringing the best people in the industry and introducing new technology to the stack. From 2007 to 2010, they were the Project Manager at Maketick Inc., where they were responsible for handling a large team of 25 members and streamlining project execution and delivery. Finally, from 2005 to 2007, they were a Software Consultant at Indus Net Technologies, where they were responsible for interaction with the client and ensuring deliveries in the defined timeframe.

Jayanta Karmakar completed their B. Tech. in Computer Science from West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata between 2001 and 2005. Jayanta also obtained a DB2 IBM certification from IBM Global Process Services in February 2004. Prior to that, they attended BHS.
