Ferris Hall

Ferris Hall has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade.

Starting in 2009, they worked as a Broadband Technical Assistant at BSkyB, where they assisted customers with troubleshooting and resolving broadband issues.

In 2010, Ferris joined CDS, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company, as a Technical Remote Specialist II, providing desktop support in a M.O.D environment.

From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a Computer Systems Technician at the University of Bath, handling IT help desk tasks for staff and students, resolving hardware and software issues across multiple operating systems.

In 2014, Ferris transitioned to an IT Supporter role at the University of Bath, primarily working with staff and academics on PC and software support, including project assistance and automation using PowerShell.

In 2016, Ferris joined ForgeRock as an Associate Systems Support Engineer, managing internal IT systems support, help desk activities, and assisting with infrastructure projects. They later became an Infrastructure Systems Engineer, supporting and improving the internal Linux IT infrastructure and systems till 2018.

Following that, Ferris worked at Claranet from 2018 to 2020 as a Site Reliability Engineer (Google), focusing on Google services and technologies.

Currently, since 2020, Ferris is employed at Appsbroker. They initially worked as a Platform Engineer, designing and deploying infrastructure for various projects. In 2021, they transitioned to a Senior Platform Engineer role, where they provided mentoring and delivered Google Cloud Platform (GCP) training to clients. Additionally, they led technical project teams and facilitated the technical certification and personal development initiatives within the company. In 2023, they became a Google Authorised Trainer at Appsbroker.

Throughout their work experience, Ferris has gained expertise in various areas, including cloud platforms, infrastructure deployment, technical support, and mentoring.
