Graham Blythe

Graham Blythe has a strong and extensive background in software development and management. Graham began their career as a Senior Systems Analyst at GEC Marconi Avionics Ltd in 1984. Graham then worked at Schneider Electric Ltd as a Software Team Leader, managing teams and developing electrical power management and control systems. Following this, they joined CDC Solutions as a Senior Software Engineer, where they were responsible for developing regulatory products and providing technical support.

Blythe's career continued to progress as they became a Software Engineering Manager at Liquent (Formerly CDC Solutions Ltd), overseeing software projects and implementing quality management standards. Graham then joined ING Direct as a Software Development Manager, where they were responsible for delivering software projects, managing risk, and ensuring compliance with development standards. Blythe later moved to Barclays Direct as a Software Development Manager and SCRUM Master, leading a delivery team and optimizing resources for operational and business-as-usual deliveries.

Currently, Blythe is working at Appsbroker Consulting Ltd as the Head of Quality Assurance. In this cross-functional role, they assess practices and processes against industry and internal standards, building relationships with product heads and product directors for planned release cycles. Additionally, Blythe previously held the position of Development Manager at Appsbroker Consulting Ltd, where they were accountable for delivering customer projects and introducing process and control into the deliver framework.

Throughout their career, Blythe has demonstrated expertise in various technologies, including Java, J2EE, XML, and web services. Graham has also gained experience in agile methodologies, quality assurance, risk management, and people management.

Graham Blythe attended Sheffield Polytechnic from 1977 to 1981. During this time, they pursued a Higher National Diploma (HND) with a focus on Mathematics, Computing, and Statistics.
