Rakim Singh Verma has a diverse range of work experience, consistently taking on roles that require technical expertise and strong communication skills. Starting in 2008, Verma worked as a Senior Commercial Associate at HSBC, where they sold and promoted financial products and supervised a team of call center agents. From 2013 to 2015, Verma served as a Customer Service Manager at Y-cam Solutions Ltd, managing a department and implementing new customer support systems. Following this, Verma worked as a Senior Recruitment Consultant at Frank Recruitment Group, specializing in identifying and placing Finance and IT professionals. Verma then transitioned to Skills Activation, working as a Training and Careers Consultant, delivering seminars and coaching sessions to higher education students. In 2018, Verma became a Brand Manager at Virtual Pro Gaming, organizing competitive leagues and engaging with teams and sponsors in the gaming industry. Verma then joined Bulb as an Energy Specialist, providing assistance to members through phone, email, and online chat. At Nationwide Building Society, Verma served as a Technical Analyst on the Technology Development Programme and later as a DevOps Engineer focused on Open Banking, facilitating code releases and automating infrastructure deployment. Currently, Verma is working as a Platform Engineer at Appsbroker Ltd, utilizing Google Cloud and other technologies to create scalable systems for customers across various industries.
Rakim Singh Verma completed their high school education from 2006 to 2008 at West Island School. Prior to that, they attended Ilford County High School from 2000 to 2006. Rakim also obtained additional certifications from Google, including the Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect in March 2022 and the Google Cloud Certified Associate Cloud Engineer in August 2021.
