Fabio Pereira

Fabio Pereira has over 24 years of experience in engineering, starting in 1997 as a Design Engineer at Fabrima Maquinas Ltda. where they designed a new PLC for the company's line of packaging machines. Fabio then worked as a Design Engineer at Electronic Design Lab, Inc. where they were responsible for designing, building, and testing new products for other companies. In 2005, Fabio moved to Kimchuk as a Senior Design Engineer and managed projects from design to manufacturing. In 2006, they were appointed as Chief Engineer at Apollo Solar Inc. and managed the in-house R&D team as well as consulting teams in the US and Asia. Fabio then worked at Enphase Energy as a Lead Electrical Engineer from 2010-2013, where they were a key contributor in the hardware engineering department developing and introducing the latest technology in solar microinverters. In 2013, they joined SolarBridge Technologies as a Principal Power Electronics Engineer and led a team of hardware engineers on developing and introducing the next generation of microinverters. Fabio then moved to SunPower Corporation in 2014, where they initially served as a Senior Hardware Engineering Manager and then as a Principal Hardware Engineer. In 2020, they joined Acutronic USA Inc. as a Senior Electronic Engineer and currently works at Apptronik as a Lead Electrical Engineer and Senior Hardware Engineer.

Fabio Pereira earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Universidade de Mogi das Cruzes between 1994 and 1999. Fabio then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Power Electronics from the University of Colorado Boulder, which they completed in 2015.
