Michael Boudreaux

Michael Boudreaux has a diverse range of work experience in mechanical engineering. Michael is currently working as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Apptronik since 2020. Prior to this, they worked at National Oilwell Varco from 2013 to 2020 as a Sr. Mechanical Engineer, where they designed, analyzed, and tested new sensor families for automation and control systems on Oil and Gas rigs. Michael also utilized a magnetic simulation tool to optimize the performance of an EM solenoid.

Before that, Michael worked at Axxion Group Corp from 2007 to 2011 as a Design Engineer, where they designed and modified computer chassis projects and conducted FEA analysis for manufacturability and strength. Michael also designed jigs for assembling and manufacturing computer parts.

During their time at the University of Texas at El Paso in 2006, Michael worked as a Research Assistant where they maintained experimental water filtration systems, conducted experiments to improve water purification systems, and performed laboratory measurements.

Prior to that, they also worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Texas in 2006, where they conducted FEA analysis of military helicopter parts, confirmed results by hand, and made design modifications.

Overall, Michael Boudreaux has experience in designing and analyzing mechanical systems, conducting experiments, utilizing simulation tools, and optimizing performance in various engineering fields.

From 2003 to 2008, Michael Boudreaux pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S) degree in Mechanical Engineering at The University of Texas at El Paso.
