Uday Savaria has worked in the field of electrical engineering since 2017. Uday began their career at Apptronik as a Senior Electrical Engineer, where they single-handedly lead the electronics effort in various projects and designed a very small sized EtherCAT junction board. Uday also worked with Contract Manufacturers on production of electronics hardware. Uday then moved into the role of Embedded System Engineer, where they designed and debugged multi-boards Apptronik Embedded systems, programmed C/C++ for TI Delfino C2000 series Micro-controller, and worked with various communication protocols including EtherCAT and Sensor interface programming. Prior to this, Uday worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Massachusetts in the Laboratory for Perceptual Robotics, where they worked on the U-Bot platform.
Uday Savaria has a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from V.V.P. engineering college, obtained between 2010 and 2014. Uday also obtained two edX Honor Code Certificates, one for Introduction to Computational Thinking and Data Science in May 2014, and one for Introduction to Computer Science and Programming in January 2014. Uday Savaria went on to obtain a Master of Science (MS) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst between 2015 and 2017.
