Junior Test Engineer at AppyWay

Dan Lynch has worked in various roles in the retail industry since 2005. Dan began their career as a Customer Service/Sales Assistant for High Street and out-of-town retailers, including Waterstones and Maypole Pet and Garden Centre. During this time, they focused on providing excellent customer service and achieved the highest mystery shopper scores ever achieved in Winchester's High Street Waterstones branch. Dan also implemented a new Board game/Collectables department, creating approximately £18k revenue in the first year, and built the reptiles department from the ground up.

In 2017, Dan Lynch joined 3D MARCOMMS LIMITED as a Software QA Tester. After working closely with the testing team for two years, they were promoted to the testing team. In this role, they tested using most methodologies for new client systems, major enhancements, and Client/Internally identified issues. After six months, they progressed to a test lead role, where they mentored junior team members. Dan also worked directly with all the other departments to resolve issues before furthering them to a developer.

Dan Lynch is currently employed as a Junior Test Engineer at AppyWay since 2022.

Dan Lynch attended the King Edward VI Grammar School from 2005 to 2007, where they obtained 8 GCSE's. Dan then attended Ingatestone Anglo-European School from 2007 to 2009, where they obtained an International Baccalaureate (equivalent to 6 A-Levels, A-C) in Chemistry, Dan'story, English, German, Maths, and Philosophy. Finally, they attended the University of Winchester from 2009 to 2011, where they obtained an HND in Psychology.
