Véronique Chabanis

Véronique Chabanis is the current Head of Human Resources at APRIL. Véronique has held this position since July of 2012. Prior to that, they were the Director of Human Resources at Gras Savoye International - Willis Tower Watson CEEMEA from March of 2008 to July of 2012. In this role, they were responsible for a budget of 150 million Euros for employee expenses in France and 50 million Euros for expenses abroad. Véronique also managed a team of 40 employees, presided over the CEE, the Group Committee, and the Central UES, and conducted negotiations with 5 representative unions.

During their time at Gras Savoye International - Willis Tower Watson CEEMEA, they oversaw the implementation of structural strategies including the evolution of the company's governance and capitalism (LBO from 2009-2014), the relocation of the company headquarters, and the sale of the personal insurance division. Véronique also successfully managed relations with employees, resulting in accords on salaries, equality in the workplace, GPEC, employee interests, the European Works Council, transportation and travel time, seniors, and well-being in the workplace (labeled by the Ministry of Labor). In addition, they oversaw major operational projects such as the introduction of a variable pay policy, job nomenclature and classification (across 30 countries), 360 degree feedback in annual reviews, certification by ISO, and Lean methodology.

Since taking on the role of Head of Human Resources at APRIL, they have continued their work in developing and empowering management teams in France and abroad. Véronique has also made strides in improving internal communication by launching an intranet for HR, supporting the development of regional and central intranets for union partners, and restructuring HR teams. Additionally, they have overseen the migration of information systems (Hypervision/e-temptation/Scenario HR to HRA suite 7), revised central and decentralized HR processes, and revamped budget formats and HR reporting for France and international locations.

Véronique Chabanis has a DEA in Droit from Université Panthéon Assas (Paris II).

Véronique Chabanis reports to Eric Maumy, President & CEO. They work with Emmanuel Maillet - Deputy CEO, Isabelle Moins - Head, IPMI–Europe, and Marc-André Dupont - Head, Property & Casualty Division.
