Lydia du Plessis is a seasoned professional in investor relations and strategic communications, currently serving as a Strategic Partner at Aprio Strategic Communications since 2014 and as the founder and co-owner of Investorsense since 2013, offering advisory services in strategic positioning and investor relations. Previous experience includes the role of Investor Relations Executive at African Bank Investments Ltd from 2009 to 2013 and various investor relations consultancy positions in 2008-2009, alongside a tenure as Investor Relations & Treasury Executive at African Bank Investments Ltd from 2001 to 2007 and General Manager of Corporate Communications at Gensec from 1997 to 2001. Lydia holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of the Witwatersrand and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Johannesburg.
