Edward Staiano

Dr. Staiano serves as the Chairman and CEO of Sorrento Investment Group focusing on startup ventures in Internet and Telecommunications areas. He is also the Chairman and CEO of Quickfilter Technologies, a private equity funded fabless semiconductor company founded in 2003. Dr. Staiano is a member of the Board of Trustees of Bucknell University and a member of the Board of Acoustic Technologies. Prior to starting his own investment company, Dr. Staiano enjoyed a 23-year career with Motorola. Dr. Staiano earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Bucknell University. He holds a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from the University of New Mexico. Dr. Staiano is a graduate of Stanford University’s Institute of Rocket Propulsion and Harvard University’s Institution for Educational Management.
