Marcello La Rosa

A professor of Information Systems at the University of Melbourne, Marcello has over 15 years of experience in the fields of business process management and process mining. He has executed R&D projects funded by the Australian Research Council and other funding schemes, totalling over AUD 28M in grants. Marcello has delivered consultancy, training, and strategic advice to hundreds of practitioners in Australia and Europe. He’s also written over 150 scientific publications, including a textbook used in 250+ universities and a MOOC series taken by 25k+ participants. Marcello has led the Apromore open-source initiative since its inception in 2009.
