Doug Bertram

Doug Bertram has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Doug currently holds the position of Executive Director of Sales & Strategy at Apruvd, a role they have been in since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Forter from July 2020 to November 2021, where they focused on optimizing eCommerce merchant revenues.

Before joining Forter, Doug was at BioCatch from May 2019 to June 2020, where they worked on leveraging behavioral biometrics to solve authentication problems. Doug also spent a significant amount of time at Verifi Inc. from January 2013 to May 2019, where they led the chargeback revolution.

Prior to Verifi Inc., Doug worked at Meracord from January 2006 to January 2013, where they held the title of VP of Sales and Business Development, focusing on payment management and escrow-as-a-service. Doug also co-founded and worked at USA Prime Real Estate, LLC from May 2004 to October 2008.

Doug began their professional career at Farnam Companies in May 1997, where they held various roles including Online Marketing Director, Pet Products President, and President of Happy Dog Toys. Farnam Companies is a well-established brand in pet products and was acquired in 2006.

Doug Bertram earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Small Business Management from Arizona State University, where they studied from 1992 to 1996. Later, from 1998 to 2000, they attended the Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University to obtain a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
