Victor Manuel Gonzalez Muñoz has a long and varied work experience. Victor Manuel began their career in 1992 as a Ph.D. student and Postdoctoral Fellow at the Centro de Biología Molecular Severo Ochoa (CBMSO). In 1998, they moved to the United States to work as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Michigan. In 2000, they returned to Spain to work as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Universidad de Alcalá in Alcalá de Henares. In 2001, they began working as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Centro Nacional de Biotecnología (CNB-CSIC) in Madrid. In 2002, they joined the IRYCIS-Hospital Ramón y Cajal as a Senior Research Scientist, Executive President of the Research Commission, Secretary of the Research Commission, and a Member of the Innovation Committee. In 2007, they co-founded Bioapter SL and acted as a Scientific Advisor. In 2011, they joined Aptus Biotech as the Chief Operations Officer. Finally, in 2014, they co-founded AptaTargets and acted as a Scientific Advisor.

Victor Manuel Gonzalez Muñoz has a Bachelor degree in Biological Sciences from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, obtained between 1986 and 1992. Victor Manuel then earned a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the same university between 1992 and 1995. In 2012, they completed the Programa de Bioemprendedores de Genoma España at Biocampus 2012, specializing in Bioemprendedores. Most recently, they participated in the Proyecto APTABRAIN at healthstart madri+d from 2019 to 2020.
