Jennifer Price, PhD

Jennifer "JP" Price has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Jennifer "JP" currently works at Aptevo Therapeutics Inc as a Scientist II in Upstream Process Development, a position they started in January 2022. Prior to this, they held the role of Scientist I in the same department from May 2020 to December 2021.

Before joining Aptevo Therapeutics Inc, Jennifer worked at UC Davis, where they served as a Graduate Research Scientist in the Biomedical Engineering Graduate Group from September 2014 to September 2019. Additionally, they worked as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant in the Chemistry Department from April 2015 to June 2015.

Earlier in their career, Jennifer gained experience at North Carolina State University. Jennifer "JP" held the position of Assistant Team Leader at The Engineering Place from May 2011 to August 2014. During this time, they also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering from December 2012 to May 2014.

Jennifer also has a brief internship experience at Vinatoru Enterprises Inc., where they worked as an Operations Support Intern from May 2013 to August 2013.

Jennifer "JP" Price began their education at the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics in 2007, where they focused on an unspecified field of study. After completing their time there in 2009, they went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering at North Carolina State University. Jennifer "JP" studied at NCSU from 2009 to 2014. Continuing their academic journey, JP then attended the University of California, Davis, from 2014 to 2019. During this time, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering.
