Michael McCrosson has a solid background in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. Michael started their career in 2008 as a Technical Associate at Bio-Rad Laboratories, where they performed Western Blot GMP manufacturing and packaging of products in an FDA regulated environment. Michael also conducted SDS-PAGE and Transblot assays. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a QC Associate at Bio-Rad Laboratories, where they performed final lot release assays, bioburden testing, and environmental monitoring of clean rooms.
In 2013, Michael joined Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories as a Scientist. Michael continued to conduct analytical assays for lot release, stability studies, and formulation studies, while also using electronic laboratory notebooks (ELN) for data collection and analysis. Michael remained with Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories until 2018.
Starting in 2018, Michael became an Associate Scientist at Aptevo Therapeutics Inc. Michael continued to conduct analytical assays for lot release, stability studies, and formulation studies. Michael also utilized ELN for data collection and performed data entry and analysis for trends.
Throughout their career, Michael has gained valuable experience in assay development, quality control, data analysis, and working in regulated environments.
Michael McCrosson completed their high school education at Marysville-Pilchuck High School from 1999 to 2002, obtaining a high school diploma. Michael then went on to pursue their bachelor's degree in Biology at Western Washington University, where they studied from 2002 to 2007.
