Peter Pavlik

Peter Pavlik has a strong background in protein engineering and molecular biology. Peter has held senior positions at multiple companies, including Aptevo Therapeutics Inc, Emergent BioSolutions, and MedImmune. At Aptevo Therapeutics, they currently serve as the Senior Director of Protein Engineering and previously held the role of Director of Molecular Biology and Protein Engineering. Before that, they worked as a Principal Scientist at both Aptevo Therapeutics and Emergent BioSolutions. Prior to their industry experience, Peter served as a Senior Scientist at MedImmune. Peter began their career as a Principal Investigator at Los Alamos National Laboratory and worked as a Staff Scientist at the Neuroimmunology Institute.

Peter Pavlik completed their education with a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Biochemistry from Comenius University, Bratislava, from 1985 to 1991. Peter then pursued a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Vienna, completing it from 1991 to 1996. Prior to their university education, Peter Pavlik completed their high school education at HS Metodova, specializing in Natural Sciences.
