Cindy Barg has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Cindy started their career as the Director & Owner of the Ambassador Program from 1991 to 2007. During this time, they were responsible for managing the program and its operations. In 2008, Cindy joined The Center For Psychotherapy as a Senior Clinician, specializing in trauma. Cindy worked with a caseload of 60 clients, providing group counseling and diagnostic assessments. From 2011 to 2012, they worked in humanitarian work as a facilitator, focusing on topics such as loss, trauma, grief, abuse, and hope. In 2020, Cindy joined aptihealth as a Behavioral Health Specialist and Psychotherapist, providing integrated mental health services through virtual/telehealth platforms. Cindy also served as a group facilitator and mentor. In addition to their professional experience, Cindy has overcome personal challenges, including a devastating car accident and the loss of their father and brother, which have shaped their work and expertise in the field of psychotherapy.

Cindy Barg obtained a Master of Education degree in Counseling Psychology from UMass Boston, attending the university from 1989 to 1991.
