John Medalen

John Medalen has extensive experience in software development and quality assurance within the tech industry, having worked at ON Semiconductor since June 1996 and currently serving as Senior Manager for Software Development and System Test. Additionally, John has been with Aptina Imaging since June 2006 as SW QA / Custom FW Manager, focusing on system testing for imaging sensors and managing both custom firmware development and software builds. Prior roles include Director of SW Verification at ONI at Aptina Imaging, where John led a team to implement QA and test automation, and Director of Quality Assurance at Vertical Networks. John also held the position of SW Tools Manager at 3COM from 1992 to 1998. John holds a BS in Computer Science from California State University, Chico.
