Michael Sanders

Michael Sanders has a diverse work experience. Michael started their career at eBay Inc as an HR Operations Intern and went on to become the HR Operations Program Lead. During their time at eBay, they successfully led projects to improve operational efficiency in the global HR shared services organization. Michael then joined PayPal as a Program Manager, where they partnered with HR organizations to drive the planning and execution of global programs and vendor solutions. After that, they worked at Vivint Smart Home as a Human Resources Operations Project Manager, Process Improvement Specialist, and Field Operations - Quality Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for implementing quality and compliance strategies and improving internal operations. Currently, they are working at Aptive Environmental as the Senior Manager of Product Management, where they oversee product development and manages a team of product managers. Michael has experience in Agile methodologies and is skilled in facilitating Scrum ceremonies and communicating with stakeholders.

Michael Sanders has a Master's degree in Public Administration from Brigham Young University, which they obtained from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Utah Valley University, attending from 2006 to 2010.

In addition to their formal education, Michael has obtained several certifications. Michael is a Scrum Product Owner Certified (SPOC) and a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), both from the Scrum Alliance, which they achieved in November 2021 and July 2021, respectively. Michael also holds an Operational Excellence Green Belt Certification obtained in June 2014. Furthermore, Michael is a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) from the Project Management Institute, which they attained in January 2021.
