Victor Montalvo-Lugo

Victor Montalvo-Lugo is a seasoned professional with over 21 years of experience in the biotechnology industry and an additional 6 years in medical research. Currently serving as Vice President of Clinical Operations at Aptose Biosciences, Inc. since November 2019, Victor is responsible for the planning, execution, and oversight of clinical programs and the clinical operations group. Prior to this role, Victor held various leadership positions at Emergent BioSolutions from November 2011 to November 2019, including Senior Director of Clinical Development & Operations and Director of Clinical Development and Operations, contributing significantly to the Device Business Unit and clinical asset integration. Victor earned a Master's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from Texas Tech University between 1989 and 1992.
