Francisca Amenabar

Francisca Amenabar is an experienced educator with a strong background in medical education and natural sciences. Currently serving at Universidad de los Andes in the Oficina de Educación Médica, Francisca facilitates medical student learning and ensures quality assurance in the School of Medicine. Additionally, Francisca is involved with APTUS, providing training courses focused on teaching improvement. Previously, Francisca held multiple positions at Universidad Gabriela Mistral, teaching subjects such as educational technology and methodologies for teaching natural sciences, while also supervising teaching practices. With teaching experience spanning over nine years in Colegio Monte Tabor y Nazaret, Francisca has contributed significantly to academic planning and the preparation of students for standardized tests. Francisca holds a Licenciatura in Bioquímica from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and a diploma in university teaching from Universidad de los Andes.
