Derek Berg

As one of the founding members, Derek has served as President of Aptus Court Reporting since they opened their doors in March 2011. The success and growth of Aptus is something he takes tremendous pride in and believes can be attributed in large part to the exceptional employees and collaborative culture.

Derek launched his career in litigation services after earning a bachelor’s degree in Business and Administration from Point Loma Nazarene University, where he also played soccer. Starting in sales and customer service, transitioning to management, he eventually became National Director of Sales and then Vice President of Business Development for two international court reporting and litigation organizations.

Derek is a fun-loving leader dedicated to his team and their overall success and happiness.
