Stephanie Matthews

Stephanie Matthews is a seasoned financial professional currently serving as a Financial Planner and Director of Financial Wellness at Aptus Financial since 2020. Prior to this role, Stephanie operated S. Matthews Consulting as a consultant for a year and held the position of VP of Communications at BOND.AI, where strategy development increased brand awareness and supported sales for a fintech firm. Stephanie has also made significant contributions as the Director of Bank On AR+ at Asset Funders Network, establishing a statewide coalition to enhance access to financial services. Earlier experiences include owning Made by Matthews Event Planning, serving as Communications Manager for the Surety & Fidelity Association of America, and working as an Editorial Coordinator for National Geographic Society. Stephanie earned a B.A. in Journalism and Anthropology from The George Washington University and participated in the Semester at Sea study abroad program at the University of Virginia.
