Michael Huiras, Sr. serves as the Sr. Vice President of Global Sales at Aptyx since July 2024, leading a global sales team within a company that combines expertise from over a dozen organizations to address complex manufacturing challenges in the life sciences sector. Prior to Aptyx, Michael held the position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Flexan from February 2016 to June 2024, overseeing contract manufacturing services for various industries. Michael's extensive experience also includes serving as the Sr. Director of Global Marketing and Sr. Director of Global Commercial Operations at Abbott Molecular from 1993 to 2016, where responsibilities included managing the global profit and loss for a $100 million business. Michael's educational background includes a BA in Marketing from Loyola University Chicago and further studies at Central College and Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.
