Colin Hughes

Colin Hughes is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the publishing industry. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer Designate at AQA since June 2020, Colin previously held the position of Managing Director for Collins Learning at Harper Collins Publishers Ltd from April 2012 to June 2020, overseeing a diverse range of educational materials. Prior to that, Colin worked as the Director of Business and Professional at Guardian News and Media for 14 years and as the Managing Editor at The Independent from 1986 to 1998. Colin holds a Master of Arts in English from the University of Oxford and completed the Advanced Management Programme at The Wharton School in 2006.
