Matt Park has over 17 years of professional experience in the defense and technology industries. Matt began their career in 2003 as a Sergeant in the US Army and then joined the Immediate Office of the Secretary of Defense in 2005, where they served as a Project Manager and Protocol NCO and an Official Representation Manager. In 2009, they joined Kestrel Enterprises, Inc. as a Special Projects Engineer and SME. In 2012, they moved to Boeing as a Cloud Services Architect and Principal Investigator for Research and Development. In 2014, they joined Booz Allen Hamilton as a Lead Associate in the Strategic Innovation Group, where they acted as a Cyber Security Strategist, DHS CDM DEFEND CDM OEM Engagement Lead, and organized and led staff training events on vendor products. Matt also led the integration of a cutting edge Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) solution. In 2017, they co-founded Aqqaint, where they served as a Technologist. In 2018, they joined Dcode as a Cyber Cohort Industry Contributor. Most recently, they joined Forcepoint in 2020 as Director, Federal Civilian Agency Programs.
Matt Park's education history includes a BS in Business Administration from Strayer University-Maryland from 2003-2010, and graduate studies in Software Engineering from Harvard Extension School from 2014-2016. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure from Coursera Course Certificates in December 2017, Introduction to Computer Science and Programming from edX in October 2013, Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator - RHCSA from Red Hat in July 2013, Cloudera Hadoop Certified Administrator - CHCA from Cloudera in February 2012, Project Management Professional - PMP from Project Management Institute in December 2017, and Certified Information Systems Security Professional - CISSP from (ISC)² in October 2017.
