Tianyuan Liu (Fred)

TianYuan (Fred) Liu has extensive work experience in the finance industry. TianYuan (Fred) began their career as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Guotai Junan Securities Co., Ltd in 2016. In 2017, they worked as a Quantitative Investment Intern at E Fund Management Co.,LTD. The following year, they joined AQR Capital Management as a Portfolio Implementation Summer Analyst. TianYuan (Fred) continued to work at AQR Capital Management and held various roles, including Portfolio Implementation and Research Analyst, Portfolio Implementation and Research Associate, and most recently, Macro Researcher. TianYuan (Fred)'swork at AQR Capital Management spanned from 2018 to the present.

TianYuan (Fred) Liu completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin in the years 2013 to 2017. In the summer of 2015, they also attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) for a Summer School program focused on Finance. Continuing their education, they pursued a Master of Engineering - MEng degree in Financial Engineering at Cornell University from 2017 to 2018. In addition to their formal education, Fred obtained certification in Deep Learning Specialization from Coursera in October 2018.
