Chief Human Resources Officer at Aqua Dynamics Private Limited

Manjula Kulathunga has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Manjula began their career at Brandix as a Manager of Human Resources and Administration in 2007. Manjula then moved on to Coats Threads (Private) Limited as an Employee Relations Manager from 2010 to 2012. Following this, they joined Hemas Hospitals Sri Lanka as the Head of Human Resources from 2012 to 2014. Manjula then took up the role of General Manager of Group Human Resources at Associated Motorways (Private) Limited from 2015 to 2016. Manjula then joined Etisalat Lanka (Private) Limited, first as the Head of Human Resources for a brief period in 2016 and then as the Director of Human Resources & Administration from 2016 to 2018. Currently, they are the Chief Human Resources Officer at Aqua Dynamics Private Limited since 2018.

Manjula Kulathunga obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Management from the University of Kelaniya Sri Lanka, where they studied Business Administration and Management from 1998 to 2001. Later, from 2008 to 2010, Manjula pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Wayamba University of Sri Lanka, focusing on Business Administration and Management.

In terms of technical education, Manjula attended the Institute of Engineering Technology (IET) in Katunayake, Sri Lanka, from 1995 to 1999, where they acquired a National Diploma in Engineering Sciences with a focus on Civil Engineering.

As for additional qualifications, in 2009 to 2010, Manjula completed an Advanced Diploma in Human Resources from the National Institute of Business Management in Sri Lanka, specializing in Human Resources Management.

Furthermore, in 2019, Manjula obtained a certification as a Certified Human Resources Auditor from the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM).
